The Artist from the cover

365 ART met Vincent Leroy for the first time in Paris, in his studio in the heart of the city, brimming with light and small mechanisms – the prototypes of his future works of art. It is interesting to note how all artists reproduce their art into their lives through often-perceivable details: countless scattered papers, sketches and engineering observations, some works of art are in movement, others are cast aside in pieces waiting to be perfected.

It is like watching the rehearsals and creation of a great masterpiece. Throughout his career, Leroy has worked on exceptional collaborations that have significantly raised his profile and confirmed the obviousness and recognition of his talent. We were about to discuss our project to exhibit the selection of kinetic works of art in Russia. I would like to share with you some of his main works:

Slow lens – Musée du Louvre, Parigi – 2019
A kinetic installation more suggestive than ever: a curtain of lenses that reflect and deform one of the most iconic places in the city. Fascinating rythm of the movement, the reflex of the lights and the perspective. https://vincentleroy.com/slow-lens

Solar quartz – El Teide, Tenerife – 2021
All this “mis-en-scene” was tansmitting a surrealistic atmosphere and a spectacular show of art: Art in movement. https://vincentleroy.com/solar-quartz
